Coastal Pups' Vancouver Aquarium Excursion
March 16, 2024, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Vancouver Aquarium • Vancouver, BC
Join the Coastal Water Protectors for an exclusive event where Coastal Pups explored the wonders of marine life! Limited space available for two sessions at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Recap:
A trip to the Vancouver Aquarium was like diving into a colourful underwater world! During our event, we saw all sorts of fascinating sea creatures, like playful sea otters, majestic beluga whales, and even exotic reptiles! The tanks at the Vancouver Aquarium were like living art exhibits, and the Coastal Pups expressed how cool it was to learn about the many different species and their habitats.
Our morning group learned a ton about marine conservation in the morning and experienced an educational presentation during Monster’s of the Abyss, and in the afternoon, we caught a feeding session with the sea otters. The sea otters were in such a playful mood and spun around in circles for us!
Both groups also got to view colourful tropical fish to graceful jellyfish; we also attended a 4D Theatre, which, expressed by a Coastal Pup, was “right there in the ocean with the animals!”
Each of our Coastal Pups also received an Aquarium Passport! The kids got 8 stamps each on their passports, which showed their inclusion in these fun and educational displays!
