Event Recap:

At the 2024 Family Jamboree: A Métis Cultural Gathering & Music Festival, The Conservation Department on BCMF had a great time engaging with the community and promoting environmental awareness. We handed out two of our spill kits to attendees, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for potential environmental accidents. In addition to our outreach efforts, we enjoyed the live entertainment, fiddling music, and door prizes that were part of the jamboree, further immersing ourselves in the vibrant cultural experience.

Overall, the event was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with the public, share important information about conservation, and support the celebration of Métis culture.
