Last night’s Whale Tales & Popcorn Trails was an incredible evening celebrating conservation, community, and the magic of storytelling with the screening of Last of the Right Whales.


Guests were treated to a vibrant atmosphere where creativity met purpose at the Reel Room, starting with a dazzling selection of cocktails and mocktails crafted by Eucalyptus Cocktails.


Signature drinks like Kelp Me Crazy and The Standing Sitka were as imaginative as they were delicious, perfectly setting the tone for the evening. The event brought together people from all walks of life, united by a shared love for marine life and the environment, creating a buzz of energy and connection throughout the venue.


The night featured an inspiring presentation from Lindsaye Akhurst and Emily Johnson of the Vancouver Aquarium, who captivated the audience with their insights into marine conservation and the essential work being done to protect our oceans.


Attendees enjoyed an incredible spread of food, with favourites like hamburger sliders, crispy mac and cheese balls, and savoury chicken tacos, adding a touch of indulgence to the meaningful discussions. The combination of delicious cuisine, engaging conversation, and a heartfelt passion for ocean conservation made the evening an unforgettable success. We are so grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to this fantastic night!
