Event Recap: Meet and Greet in Kamloops

The Coastal Water Protectors recently participated in a meet and greet event in Kamloops, providing an excellent opportunity for the public to learn about our latest initiatives. At our booth, attendees had the chance to see firsthand what we're up to, including demonstrations of our spill kits and discussions about our conservation efforts.

We handed out educational booklets on global warming, offering valuable insights into environmental issues, and shared our year-end review for 2023, highlighting our accomplishments over the past year.

In addition to our informative displays, we were thrilled to give away 4 spill kits for free to BCMF members, empowering them with tools to respond to environmental spills and contribute to coastal protection. The event allowed us to connect with the community, share our mission, and reinforce the importance of collective action in preserving our natural environment. We look forward to continuing our engagement with the public and supporting the BCMF community in their conservation efforts.
